The Ilfracombe Academy is a church academy which works closely with the Diocese of Exeter. We have more than 1000 students on roll including an expanding Sixth Form. Our students come from a wide coastal belt and represent the full socio-economic and ability range.

Ilfracombe is the largest town in the catchment area, but the surfing village of Woolacombe, the holiday resorts of Lynton, Lynmouth and Combe Martin together with a widely spread rural population, are also part of the college community. Many of our staff live locally.
