Important year 11 pre-exam guidance documents
During the course of this year you have received several communications from the school outlining the steps that the government has taken to mitigate the ongoing effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on current year 11 students. One important adaptation for this year is the publication of pre-exam guidance documents.
Year 11 students have been shown these guidance documents in lessons but we have also collated all guidance documents into a booklet for students. Students have been provided with a paper copy of this document and digital copies have been uploaded to both ClassCharts and the school website (within the latest news section).
The exam boards have produced these guidance documents to inform teachers and students of the key content within each examination paper. We know that the topics listed in each guidance document will be examined this summer and that these topics will account for a large number of marks in each paper. For this reason we are encouraging students to ensure that you have revised these topics thoroughly.
The recent year 11 mock exams went really well, the students impressed me with their effort, application and resilience. We are looking forward to working with year 11 in the direct run up to their summer exams.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
