About the event

Dear Parent/Carer

Year 9 Parents Evening – Monday 1stFebruary

The Year 9 Parent/Teacher Evening to discuss your child’s progress will be held on Monday 1st February via video conference. We have included a full guide on how to book your appointment and join the appointment by video call with this letter. You will be able to book appointments by logging into:

Or  access via the new ‘Parent evening’ globe , note: you must have the latest version of the Weduc App which is 7.49 the globe is not available in any lower version.

Please add your telephone number / e-mail to the appointment comments and the teacher will call or e-mail you with feedback later in the evening if there is difficulty connecting by video.

Five minute appointment slots will be available between 16:00-18:30. Please note that the allocated time slot is strictly limited to the 5 minutes booked so if you or the teacher are late, or leave and rejoin the call, it does not reset the timer and the appointment will always end at the scheduled time.

Appointments are live now. If the time slots that suit you have all been allocated, you are unable to attend on that date or are uncomfortable using the video conferencing technology but you wish to discuss how well your child has settled in, you can add a comment to the waiting list or please contact the school or the teacher directly by email.

On the day of the video appointments, login to Parents Evening via the link above, WEDUC globe or click the login link at the bottom of the email confirmation you will have received. Once logged in you will see a notice that you have upcoming video appointments and under this the details of the event, along with a Join Video Appointments button. This will become available 60 minutes before your first appointment.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to speak to either myself or Mrs Brennan

Yours faithfully

Mr Dan Law

Head of Year 9
