Following on from the work the school conducted which resulted in us attaining the Leading Parent Partnership Award it was decided in 2012 to set up a Parents’ Forum. Meetings have taken place regularly and the numbers attending have steadily increased.
Meetings are informal and open to all our parents/carers. We value the Forum firstly as an opportunity for parents to express their views and opinions on a whole range of issues relating to their children’s education and experiences at school. Sharing these views has been instrumental in allowing us to respond to parents’ questions and concerns. Secondly the Forum has proved a useful way of informing parents about events and activities taking place at the Academy.
